Two theatrical seasons’ prominent plays, prize-winning performances of the theatrical cultures of Central-Eastern Europe will be seen on the REFLEX International Theatre Biennale in Sfântu Gheorghe. Through its representativeness and its system of selection – based on the values of contemporary theatre – the aim of this festival is to give a picture about the different theatrical cultures of the region, making it one that would express the present of the theatre. Besides presenting important performances from Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania, the first edition of the REFLEX Theatre Biennieal will host the Berlin Deutsches Theater’s first guest performance in Romania.
